Designed to soothe and hydrate without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy, this fragrance-free formula grants a subtle, matte finish and a smooth, even skin texture. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide, which protects your skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays while working to soothe the look of redness. Plant-derived pentavin lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration, and antioxidant-rich kakadu plum helps to guard your complexion against free radicals... All in all, this SPF is one that your face (and ears, and neck) should never be without!

Best SPF brand
I really love the Ultra Violette brand and when it came to the UK I tried the mattifying SPF as I generally don’t like the feel of too much on my skin. To be honest, this was probably a mistake at my age (57) as I need something a bit more moisturizing. That being said, if you are younger with an oily or combination skin, this is for you. It goes on well (although a bit thicker than the other Ultra Violette products)and with no white cast. I probably wouldn’t purchase again but I would recommend it for a younger skin.

Great mattifying sunscreen
I have combination skin and really like this sunscreen for providing a matte finish underneath makeup without any shine. I took a point off because the texture is quite thick and sometimes a little difficult to spread evenly, but eventually it does spread and although it initially feels a bit heavy or thick on the face, that soon goes away and it has a pore-blurring and mattifying effect with the slightest tint to even the complexion. Doesn't move all day and works as a great primer under a BB cream.

The ideal sunscreen!!
Firstly, the most important thing… it hasn’t broken me out or made my skin angry at all!!! as someone who reacts to all chemical SPFS and even some mineral ones, this one is so perfect and calming! no redness when applied, it gives off a “your skin but better” look! doesn’t make me oily throughout the day. Yes it’s thick but nothing that doesn’t blend in beautifully! dries clear. my new go to! only downfall is it potentially is making my makeup patchy in certain areas like around my nose and chin but that isn’t to say it’s not my concealer/makeup products! highly recommend if you’re acne prone/clogged pores prone!

I really like products from Ultra Violette. good value for money. Really love this! This SPF is my favorite and I will never use anything else. easy to apply and the matte makes my skin even. The only thing I don't like is the pump, the sunscreen squeezes out through the edges of the tube while pumping. I recommend to try

Perfect for oily skins
I have very oily skin and have used this continuously for two weeks. Great product; looks perfect during non makeup days, it is easy to apply, and it performs well with foundation. I can see how reviewers with dry skin have not liked it; I honestly do not think this product is intended for dry skin. If you have oily or very oily skin you are going to love this product!

Being of a dark Asian skin tone, I’ve always had to resort to chemical sunscreens, as mineral SPF’s are known to leave a white cast. However, I’ve finally found a sunscreen which leaves no white cast! It’s thick to apply but within a few minutes it sinks in nicely and lightly blurs imperfections. I won’t be changing from this SPF!

Too heavy for me
This spf is ok - the consistency is abif thick for me but it doesn’t feel thick on the skin - on application it is actually very light weight. Blends into the skin quite well too. I bought this spf for no makeup days on holiday as it’s is magnifying which means I can reapply and it will stay on rather than sweat off! Works well for that so do not regret buying!

I wanted to love this, and in the summer, it would be fab. But it's too matifying for my dry skin during the winter. It's extremely thick to apply too, so you need alot of product. It didnt react with my sensitive skin and didn't make my eyes sting like supergoop did. But it's not the best. I've now jumped on the tik tok band wagon and got a Korean one. Which is much better.

Thick was darker in texture
I prefer the other SPF 50 from this range ( light green lid) however this is great for the summer months, I do add some extra moisture when applying as it has a much thicker consistency, I will probably go back to the other one as I’m used to it and have had 4/5 tubes over the last couple of years, I use this everyday all year round and I look 40 not 50 ( so I’m told ) it’s a shame the price has increased 20% in the last 2 years 😝
