Waterproof and doesn’t dry out
I’m usually sceptical over waterproof mascaras. They never tend to be as waterproof as they claim and they usually tend to be drier and flakey. I was pleasantly surprised with this mascara. I cycle to work and in the cold months my eyes are very watery and usually have tears streaming down my face against the cold wind. You wouldn’t know it using this mascara. There’s no smudging or panda eye at all. I’ve been using it for nearly two months and the consistency is steel liquidy and slick on application. You can create a fluffed up eye lash effect in the corners too with a few applications. Very impressed.

Fave mascara!
This mascara is brilliant. The brush is thick but the mascara doesn’t clump on there. It goes on the lashes easily without making any mess or clumps. I can exercise, sweat or even cry and it doesn’t budge! This is my 3rd tube!

I’ll say it’s ok.
I should start by declaring I have no mascara loyalty. I’ll try any brand and sort of just stick them out. My criteria is always waterproof as no matter what mascara smudges on me and I have a sneaky leaky left eye. This mascara is ok. Like it didn’t so much to my lashes but the colour is good. For reference my lashes are quite long and I like a natural look and the ability build and build and build. All in all this ticks the waterproof box but is their oomph? Nope. Mega watt volume? Nope. Bambi eye ability? Nada. So it’s fine. But if you’re needing anything over than colour I’d say pass.

Holy grail

The quest for a fully waterproof mascara.....
..... is sadly still in progress. This is a nice mascara to use and the immediate results are good. Lashes look long and dark but it doesn’t last and within a couple of hours, it has smudged. Disappointing.

Clumpy
Worked well at first but quickly turned clumpy and dry. Not a mascara to use if you like to layer but also avoid big clumpy lashes. I mainly bought this mascara because it was apparently good for not transferring to the upper eyelids. I would agree to this statement 80% of the time. Maybe I'm just prone to transfer when my skin is particularly oily some days.

Very dry and does not do much. When adding layers it turns clumpy. It is very water proof, but not much else.

Obsessed
All mascaras tend to smudge on me even waterproof ones so I was skeptical when I bought this. It has, however, turned out to be my best purchase. Doesn't smudge or flake at all, gives great length, volume, and curl, the colour is a perfectly dark black and it is easy to remove with a good oil-based cleanser. Wouldn't be without it now!
