my favourite winter moisturiser !! <3

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

this moisturiser is perfect for cold weather or dry skin - it makes my skin feels hydrated unlike any other moisturisers I've ever tried before.

Totally reliable

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I use this moisturiser as a night cream & I really rate it. Fantastic quality at an even better price point what’s not to love??? I’m 43 & usually have combination skin, however in winter my dry bits get a bit more dry just with the cold weather & central heating. This cream is just rich enough to deal with this dryness if I use it over a good serum. I find it a bit too shiny to wear during the day though. It leaves my skin feeling comfortable & supple & in my opinion works as well if not better than many other much more expensive creams.

Simply the best

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is the best face cream ever, and trust me I've done the leg work. It's rich as in deeply moisturising but light weight. It soaks in right away without leaving a greasy residue. Great under make up, no slipping or sliding. Just perfection! My skin type is combination, which is spot prone and would also be considered mature (36 gulp) and on the plus side I find it reasonably priced.

I use it at night, rich but not too heavy.

After years of searching: My Holy Grail

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

As the title of my review suggests, I’ve had a lot of trouble finding the perfect moisturiser for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin that struggles with texture from time to time, so you’d think plenty of thicker moisturisers would be alright for me - wrong. The best moisturiser in terms of how it felt once applied that I used before this one was plain old Nivea soft cream, but in using that I had to sacrifice some redness due to the irritating ingredients in it. But nothing else I tried felt right! It was either too greasy and thick, too soapy, too light, or broke me out badly. Anyway - the bit you actually want to read - this moisturiser is my absolute HOLY GRAIL product. Not only is it thick enough for night and light enough for day, but it also glides onto the skin with no awkward pilling, no siliconey film, no caprylic triglyceride chalkiness, just pure plumping MOISTURE in a pot. I don’t know why it’s been so difficult for me to find a moisturiser this good, but I’m glad I HAVE found it and I will never stray from it now.

Night routine essential

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This cream is a staple part of my nighttime routine now. Rich, plumping, softening and glow-bringing, it packs a punch way stronger than the price tag suggests. Perfect for my middle-aged skin.

Skin Soak moisturiser

Lovely rich and thick, but still quite light, no or little fragrance, not greasy. Just wish it had an SPF. I would buy it again though. My skin looked great after a week of using it.

Love it!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have dry and sensitive skin and my cheeks are often inflamed and red. I’ve found this hydrating but not greasy and really gentle on my skin. I’m in my late 30s and find it works really well for where my skin is at these days. The inflammation on my cheeks is improving too.

Really hydrating moisturiser

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Like some others, when I first used this I thought it was too light as my skin soaked it up and it almost felt tight. Having used it day and night for a few weeks now I love it, it's very hydrating and my dry 40's skin feels well moisturised and comfortable, even after using retinol. It's not a thick emollient cream though, unlike the milk moisturiser so possibly not thick enough for everyone. But I am happy I persevered with it and think it's great value for hydration and will definitely repurchase.

Not writing home about it

Good quality hydration without a greasy feel, but not better than anything you would get from an average high street brand. In fact, for the price, I'd rather get a L'Oreal or upgrade altogether. I wouldn't get it again.
