This mascara disappointed me. Clearly, it has worked for a lot of people, so I must be in the minority or the unfortunate recipient of a bad apple... The brush is quite large and holds a lot of product, so I found I needed to remove the excess (kind of wasteful) and even then my lashes were clumped together. It was very difficult to coat lashes in the corners of my eyes. The formula dried very quickly, so attempting to tidy it up by combing through my lashes right after lead to it crumbling, as well as leaving lashes crinkly and crunchy-looking :( frustrating enough to apply, and then it was all over my cheeks by lunchtime anyway... My lashes are long and fine and blonde, and maybe this works better if you have thick or dark lashes, but it is a very heavy, clumsy product for me...no lengthening effect, no volume effect, not a nice experience to use...easily the worst mascara I have used in a while.

The best mascara
I will always prefer a brown mascara, but this is by far the best I’ve tried. Perfectly defines my lashes in a very subtle way. My favourite style of brush very volumising. I would highly recommend it, although a little pricey.

I got this in the brown shade and it is the perfect shade. However it is very very natural and can’t really be built up without clumping. I do appreciate the bouji packaging but it is bulky in my makeup bag.. don’t think it’s worth the price.
