I wouldn't usually spend so much on a lipstick but had a birthday voucher (thanks cult beauty) so decided to treat myself. The packaging is absolutely stunning, very luxurious. Personally I really like the lipstick and feel it is reasonably long lasting. There is a distinctive smell/taste of the lipstick, like a clay smell but again I like this. If you are particularly sensitive to smells you may struggle with this one. Bought the colour minx which is a great everyday colour, thinking of purchasing another brighter colour.

I always wear matte lipsticks, so it has never been a problem for me. However, this lipstick leaves my lips drier than before. It also has an awful smell—strong clay-based plastic with hints of vanilla. Hopefully, the smell will go away over time.The two stars are due to the case's excellent craftsmanship and beauty. This colour goes onto your lips the same as it is in the stick! There are no gaps in the colour and the coverage is full and smooth. Has a delicate scent of violets. The best part is the beautiful case it has. It feels substantially weighty and the colour is a shiny beige that it slik and chic!

Beautiful design including the tiny mirror in the cap. Pique - a great everyday shade for me, matching my natural lip colour. Fairly long-wearing. Definitely not drying with the recommended prep. However, as dramatic as this might sound, and why I hesitated to leave my review is that the clay-like natural scent of the formula is quite unpleasant and unfortunately I keep noticing it while I wear it. I’m a huge admirer of Gucci and her brand, and have and use her entire system, alas I really wish the lipstick range came in more muted and nuanced shade variation, and that the formula was entirely scent-less (like the limited edition squeaky clean lip balms). Looking forward to WA hopefully widening the range and updating the scent with time.

Beautiful formula
This is another beautiful product from the brand. I bought the shade Je Rêve and the shade is exactly what I hoped for and very flattering. The formula is very comfortable to wear. My lips are very dry and extremely sensitive and I can’t wear most matte lipsticks but I have no issues with this. The packaging is also very beautiful and love the tiny mirror in the lid.

Love Westman Atelier products, so I was excited to hear they had launched a lipstick. I was a bit apprehensive at first to purchase, due to the high price but I’m glad I took the plunge! I chose the colour Minx which I love, the colour is really strong, stays put for hours and most importantly even though it is matte doesn’t dry my lips out. Now I need to save up to buy the other colours!!
