Pros and cons to this
Firstly, I have shade 3 and the colour match is perfect, which is why I hesitate to give 3 stars. However it has a very distinct smell to it that smells earthy, which doesn’t fade that much but isn’t unbearable - my cat even gave my face a sniff! It’s very dewy but not greasy looking, it makes me look healthy and fresh. The packaging is small but a little goes a long way, you only need a few drops. I wouldn’t use this for high coverage, it’s more to even out the complexion. It doesn’t fade but I do set it with Hourglass powder, I just wish it had spf in it atleast, hence 3 stars. It’s nice but time will tell if it’s holy grail.

I love the texture of this product and the coverage is lovely. I only want a sheer coverage that uplifts the skin and gives it a glow and natural perfection. This products delivers on that front. I understand the high price point as Westman Atelier is known for this but what I can't get over is the smell. It really doesn't smell nice (like Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil). I understand the smell isn't down to rancidity and is usually due to high levels of omega fatty acids but it's so strong it makes me feel self conscious wearing it as I feel like others can smell it too. Not really what I'd expect from a premium product.

Honestly I had high expectations, but sadly they weren’t met. While I love the packaging, shade match, and am sure the formulation is great, some things put me off. 1) This is a very, very light coverage skin tint. It’s like a thick moisturiser. Which may work for some but the skin tints I’ve used in the past pack slightly more of a punch. 2) Leads on to my next point, which is if you want to see this on your skin you need to apply quite a lot, but the bottle is tiny. If I used this every day I’d probably run out in a couple of weeks. 3) It has a very strange chemical smell, kind of stinks. I saw these comments from other users so it’s not just me. Had high hopes but disappointed!
