smells weird

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like the texture its creamy easy to absorb, and it was hydrating, but I don't like how it smells, it smells like mushroom.

Was hoping for the best moisturiser

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Like I said I was hoping of the best moisturiser for my partially sensitive, dehydrated, mixed bag of dry/oily skin and it just didn't it. I don't count on the dehydration part of it because that's on me (drink water kids!) but the dry and oily parts I thought it would do something. Just an very overpriced moisturiser. I actually I'm not a fan of any of the YTTP products tbh.

Another favourite!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

YTTP never disappoints! I use their peptide cream in the morning and this in the evening. It gives such intense moisture, and it feels beautiful, not greasy. In the morning my skin feels moisturised and looks glowing. And the bonus… I’m getting a full size tub in Cult Beauty’s Advent Calendar!

Undecided

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm still unsure whether I like this cream, I found it too rich when I tried it but perhaps I need to give it another go in the winter as I tried it during spring. I think people with dry skin will love it whereas my skin is normal-dry.

Not for me

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have heard so many good things about this moisturiser, so I was really excited to try it, however it made my skin feel really sensitive and pink. I know a lot of people really like so maybe it was just my skin it didn't love, maybe be aware if you have very sensitive skin.

Hydrating all day

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This product is super hydrating. When you initially put it on, it feels light however, just before I went to bed I felt my skin and it was still so moisturised. Sometimes I struggle with stingy eyes from moisturiser but this has caused no problem. I'd put this in my top 3 day creams along with caudalie intense and lumene vit C.

Not deeply hydrating

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

As someone with dry and dehydrating skin, I didn't find the claim that it was deeply hydrating true. If you have dehydrated skin I would recommend trying the travel size before committing to the price of the full size product. The price is only worth it if it is hydrating enough that you don't have to use other products.

Peptides become less effective when in contact with air.

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

Peptides are the most expensive ingredients in this moisturiser. I pruchased this when I knew less about skincare but I've done lots of reading and learnt that anything containing peptides should be in a container with an airless pump (Dr Vanita Rattan on Youtube talks about this if you're interested). The moment you open the jar the peptides become less and less effective which means you're essentially just putting money down the drain as you don't get the benefits of the product you're paying for. I won't be repurchasing.

JUST THE BEST!!! MY NEW FAVE

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

If you're looking for the best moisuriser, look no further. This is super hydrating but not at all oily. You can use it morning AND evening. It has no perfume, seems to be all natural ingredients - I have dry, mildly sensitive skin and had no issues with this. Honestly I look forward to applying it, it feels like a gentle hug to the soul. I've noticed after using it regularly for about 6-7 weeks, there are now days where I don't need to apply it in the morning since I am still well hydrated from the application the night before (in the morning I only rinse my face with water). This product is pricey but WORTH EVERY PENNY! If you're unsure, try the travel sized one first. My only issue now is I'm not sure whether to try the other "flavour" of moisturiser or stick to this one!!

Good cream

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I liked the cream and used it during the winter. It’s ultra hydrating and a little goes a long way, however, after a while ( if used on its own) I feel my skin dry and will not probably use in the long run. I might get another mini for the next winter to use on top of my regular cream and neck. I have combination to oily skin.
