Great

Love these, helped a lot with textural issues and a little bit with pigmentation. Didn't dry out my skin or irritate it.

Nice pads

These pads are good for sensitive skin. I noticed a difference and would highly recommend.

Great on sensitive skin

I got this in a Caroline Hirons beauty box, I am really happy with the kind yet effective exfoliation, I could see results after one week, my sensitive rosacea skin was not overreacting and looked clearer.

Meh

They are fine but I would prefer any number of other, often cheaper, acid toners. The smell is also hard to take. I will not repurchase.

Drying

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I didn't even get through half the pot. Had to give up because it makes my skin so dry and causes tiny little spots, even when I was using just twice a week. I have a friend who has very oily skin and loves this, so maybe it's a matter of skin type. Mine's normal and this was way too strong. Different from what some beauty bloggers say, acids are not for everyone and definitely not to be used everyday. If you like them, go easy.

Try them

I like these although for my sensitive skin using them once a fortnight is appropriate, more than that and they are too strong. Less difficult faces should really benefit.

Better alternative to AHAs

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love these pads. I find them less irritating to use than glycolic acid exfoliants. I found that these didn't give me an immediate effect, but I persevered as I found them gentle. In the long term they helped to clear existing blemishes and kept my skin balanced. They also helped reduce hyperpigmentation left by old spots. And the pads are well soaked and do not dry out for ages.

the best

From my personal experience, it is more effective than Sunday Riley Good Genes, yet still is very gentle on the skin. My skin does not agree with glycolic acid so this is a god sent. Already got my second jar. Will forever repurchase.

Good product, if only it were easy to use

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am torn by this. I quite like the acid itself, but find the pads to be very flimsy and fragile. I barely swipe it over my face than the pad disintegrates and becomes unwieldy to use. The amount of acid soaked into these pads also seems to leave you wanting. There isn't much to go around. It's a shame really. I really like the product, but it is difficult to use.

Dislike the smell

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

It makes my skin feel a bit tacky after use and I have a hard time getting over the smell. Reminds me of the Clearasil pads I used when I was a teenager. Somewhere it reminds me of ammonia as well. So all in all not really overwhelmed by this product. Sorry Zelens. But it does get rid of dead skin cells that linger around.
