Good product
Good product, unsure if it does as much as it’s meant too but my skin did look fresh. Fine lines didn’t improve any. Product goes a long way. Never got any irritation on skin either.

Works so well
I like that you can combine it with your usual moisturiser.

Great idea but too much room for error
I live Paula's Choice and really trust them as a brand... Apart from this product. I hate "add to your usual moisturiser ' products when they contain things like sunscreen or strong actives like Retinol. It's hard to judge how much you're using each time. Stick to a dedicated product or a moisturiser that already contains sunscreen or retinol to do it more safely.

Effective, beginner friendly retinoid
I used this for a while before switching to prescription grade retinoid. Made the transition really smooth. While I was using it, my skin had less blemished then before, my skin had less texture and looked healthier overall. It’s great for mature skin as well, my mom liked it :)

Perfect for first time 1% retinol users
I love this retinol. The consistency is perfect for oily skin. I use it on its own or with moisturizer and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. This is the first 1% retinol I have used after using 0.5% for the past year. I really like this product but it’s so small the size you get and really expensive as well. I use a couple of pumps for my face so I expect it will run out easily. Makes my skin clearer and more radiant and gets rid of my acne and acne scars.

Love it - but expensive
I have adult acne and this is doing a good job of helping. Can't say I never get new spots but this stuff has really helped smooth my skin tone and control breakouts. I now only really get them in hormonal areas. I know retinols are expensive but the whole point of this brand originally was to be affordable and straightforward with ingredients - this is too expensive that's why I've taken off one star - I only ever buy it when I've got a promo code!

Good so far
A few weeks into using this product. I like the simple packaging and it’s easy to use so you can control how much you use. My skin reacted with a few bumpy outbreaks on my forehead a little after the second or third use but it’s fine now.

Very pricey!
I am a seasoned retinol/vitamin A user. Years ago having been told by a dermatologist that vitamin A is the best anti aging product for the skin, I have used mainly retinol products at night and my skin is now used to 1% retinol. I have used PC on its own and even so this booster is not as good as Drunk Elephant retinol, unfortunately with PC has always been a bit of a hit or miss with me I have therefore used this booster for my ingrown hair on my legs, mixed with a body lotion and it's working beautifully.

Pricey but phenomenal
This is a bit pricey but sometimes you pay for the formulation. It’s perfect for my oily skin, the consistency is very fluidy and absorbs very quickly. Results are also very fast and not irritating at all.
