Mixed results
I bought this as a less harsh alternative to 2% for my daughter. It wasn’t as effective unfortunately. Then the dermatologist instructed us to stop using salicylic acid toner full stop but we use it as a spot treatment and find 2% is better. It depends on how you use the product but this didn’t suit our needs in the end

Lovely, calming and gentle!
I really liked using this product! If you have sensitive skin, it’s a great way of getting some exfoliation into your skincare routine without stripping the skin or causing any redness. This is why I really loved this product however I’m not repurchasing this again yet (I may in the future if my skin barrier needs a bit of restoration). This is because this product has a more gel like consistency which is a bit too thick for me to layer / use with my other products in my routine. I wanted this to have more of a toner consistency. Now I’ve switched back to the 2% and my skin seems to be okay so far since I’m only using it once a week! But this one can be used daily!

this is actually much better than I would have thought - a good amount of product for the money, and within a few days I noticed my skin feeling more firm, with visibly smaller pores - i would recommend, and didnt flare up my skin. I cant say it has helped with spots, but hasnt made them any worse, just improved pore size etc!

Works on my sensitive skin
Big fan: started using every other day as suggested, and am up to daily. Feels really nice smoothed over my skin. I'm a couple of weeks into using it and I can see a small reduction in blemishes, I think my nose pores look smaller and are less congested. Hoping for more visible improvements with regular use. The main thing I'm so happy about it that my sensitive skin is tolerating a chemical exfoliant, no reaction at all!

I've used the 2% Liquid Exfoliator from Paula's Choice before, and while I saw some improvements to my skin, it was really irritating and stingy on my skin.
