Written In Blood.

Might just be my perfect red! Goes on smooth and creamy and moisturising, lovely colour. It smells great. Wears off fast with eating and drinking, not a long wear type lipstick so remember to take it out with you for reapplication.

Carnal is all I expected and more

With a very beautiful sheer-matte finish, it makes lips look very alluring. The first glide doesn't go so easy, but then it goes very smooth. I was in love with the formula, which is super comfortable and pigmented. This is my first Rituel de Fille lipstick shade, and I'm already trying to decide which will be my next one!

Recommend 1 out of 3 tried shades

"Fortune Teller" is patchy AF(!), do not recommend. "Prey" doesn't look like on the picture: It is gray (like "Strange Creature" on the picture – I checked the name, I didn't receive the wrong one, my "Prey" is gray). "Written in Blood" is a gorgeous, quite classic red (little darker than MAC Ruby Woo) but a tiny bit patchy. Also to be aware of: All three settle in my fine lip lines a little bit. Positive about them: They are creamy, easy to apply, comfortable to wear, lightweight, with a slight lavender smell that doesn't bother me personally (not a strong as that vanille-y MAC smell). So, "Written in Blood" I can recommend although you'll find similar shades with a similar performance by other brands (I used to have a very similar L'Oreal, don't have it anymore) – just not with that natural claim. "Prey" – if you're looking for a grey lipstick, sure. "Fortune Teller" – no.

As the other reviews say this is definitely darker and more vampish but it's gorgeous. It doesn't have massive staying power, but it's creamy and feels comfortable on the lips and leaves colour on the lips as it fades down.

Chrysalis nice indeed

Chrysalis is the first I tried, I was worried that a deep green lipstick would be a bit weird, but Rituel did so great. The texture is smooth and colour appears elegant and even suitable for daily makeups! Highly recommended. I will try Prey, Hex and Oracle later this week.

Rituel De Fille Lippies!

I bought a couple of these lipsticks recently, and oh they are so creamy and pigmented (with one swipe!). They glide on the lips smoothly and non patchy. They have a faint smell of lavender, which is a universally flattering scent. They are quite long lasting and don't slip around during the day. The only gripe I have with this brand is that they only provide 1.8g of product for the price.

I bought the colour Written in Blood and even though it looked like a beautiful classic red color it proved to be very dark - almost vampish.

The colour is not cold neon red as in picture. Instead, it's a true dark, vampish red with a satiny finish. It fades into a lovely carnation stain.
