Took time to come round to
Initially I wasn't too enamoured with this tool, whilst I liked the volume it gave to my fringe, I wasn't convinced I liked the dryer function. I can admit when I am wrong, this is amazing! I took it away for a week, my hair is so shiny, bouncy and full of volume. I have curled and smoothed my hair with this and both looked great - certainly worth the money for me

Pricey but oh my!
In 40. Hair texture is starting to change and one drop of this on dry hair works wonders to eliminate frizz and give a smooth sleek look again. In wet hair a couple of drops is plenty. It smells great too. I have very fine hair and it doesn’t weigh it down or make it look greasy.

It’s larger than I thought. I have fine hair, medium length and it styles it well. But I do prefer more volume at roots. It wasn’t too heavy for me and I sat at makeup desk to dry hair so no issues with cord length. I preferred it as less cord to tangle. The dry hair mode is really impressive. Worth it just for that!

Heavy but good
Note the wet mode says to dry your hair to 70% dry first so this is not a one stop shop, you still need a hairdryer first. I got this today so only used once hence this is my first impressions. My hair is thick and frizzy naturally and about an inch or two below shoulders for reference. This tool is fairly heavy. Best using two hands and holding at each end. The wet mode is ok, I still need to practice as my ends were going in all directions and I should have used smaller sections than I did. Ensure you comb your hair well as it will pull. It worked well but hard to get to the roots that well. Dry mode was very impressive. I’ve never been able to blow dry my hair. I used this straight after the wet mode and my hair now looks bouncy and shiny. I need practice but I think this is going to be a game changer from my blast hair dry and then straighten routine. I do have a competitors wet to dry air straighteners, this shark tool leaves my hair shinier and less frizzy. Whereas I do like my other tool I tend to feel I need to finish it a bit more with straighteners. Overall very impressed, will need practice to fine tune and I do feel would be better on longer hair as it’s quite a big barrel.

Better results than the leading brand??
Now full disclaimer, I’ve only had the chance to use this a handful of times so far, but I’m so impressed with it that I was impatient to leave a review. I’ve tried many of these styling tool/hairdryer/hot brush things already - including the fancy one from another popular vacuum brand (iykyk) - but none of them have given me as professional results as this one. I have very thick and quite curly hair which frizzes very quickly so the smoothing comb on this makes all the difference to the final result and longevity of my blow dry. Granted, it might be more damaging than the other brand, but given I’ve never had to go over with a straightener for a smoother style after using this, I’d say it balances out. I actually only bought this to make travelling easier but I’m actually considering buying another to use as my main styling tool
