I've got fairly long, but fine hair and this means I can quite comfortably fit my hair in although still wish it was a little bit more roomy. If you have very long and/or thick hair I can imagine this being a bit of a struggle. Overall happy with the fit and quality. Have taken a star off as I'm not sure the price reflects the quality as it seems a little bit expensive for what you get and other slightly cheaper products may be just as good. This is however the only one I have tried so far. Does seem to do the job of reducing frizz and wear and tear. My hair is looking shinier and in better condition since I started using this. Haven't experienced any issues with the elastic being either too tight or to loose as some reviewers have found, but this might partly be because my hair is as I said, quite fine and not very thick?

Only silky on the outside?
You have to wear it inside out to get the benefits as the inside definitely causes fizz. I would expect it to be double-lined to achieve what the description promises.
