Best cleanser I’ve ever used bar none

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I *really* wanted to not be impressed by this, because the price is insane. BUT: I will be repurchasing. It’s just by far the best cleanser I’ve ever used. Before using this, I definitely didn’t consider a cleanser as a product to spend much on. But this is different: 1- it actually removes all my makeup in one go. Every other balm/oil cleanser I’ve ever used, I’ve had to make a second pass with micellar/makeup remover— not this. Some of the eye makeup does come off on the washcloth, but that’s ok with me because it does ALL come off. 2- It leaves my skin feeling perfectly clean, not at all greasy or oily, but also not stripped. I don’t need a second cleanse! I have sensitive combination skin and I’m in my late 40s and I am HAPPY when I can cut extra steps out of the routine. 3- It actually contributes to keeping the skin barrier healthy! Since I’ve used this (I’m also trying out the Sensitive Skin care for a month) my surface redness has ramped way down. I’m not convinced I will need to keep using the Sensitive Skin lotion after one bottle — I think I can get similar benefits less expensively— but this cleanser is really unique.
