THE INKEY LIST’s aim is simple: break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on the skin care’s most-wanted ingredients (right up our street). A collection of hero products formulated by a crack team of experts and scientists, this range incorporates all the industry heavy-hitters and allows you to customise your regime to suit your skin’s ever-changing needs. The products contain as few ingredients as possible, all of the highest quality and at ‘give-it-a-go’ prices. The brand's all-new Snow Mushroom Moisturiser sings the praises of this year's most-wanted ingredient, tremella fuciformis (also known as snow mushroom). Thanks to its gelatinous structure combined with high levels of polysaccharide molecules, Snow Mushroom acts in a similar way to hyaluronic acid by drawing moisture to the skin so prepare for this purse-friendly moisturiser to plump, hydrate and add a dewy glow to your complexion in no time!
Renowned in Asia for it's ability to boost skin's hydration levels, Snow Mushroom isn't as new as we think. Also known as tremella fuciformis, THE INKEY LIST's Snow Mushroom moisturiser is a must-try thanks to the hero ingredients gelatinous structure and high levels of polysaccharide molecules which puts it in competition with your favourite hero ingredient, hyaluronic acid. While hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, snow mushroom can hold up to 5x that but it also has smaller molecular particles meaning snow mushroom can penetrate skin easily, quicker and without any unwanted irritation. A multi-tasker, this hero ingredient also has soothing anti-inflammatory benefits too that can aid collagen production for a visibly plumper and healthier complexion.

didn't like at all
I didn't like this at all, but wanted to find a good, low cost everyday moisturizer. I have oily, acne-prone skin and did not find this hydrating at all and it felt a bit irritating as well.

Not very hydrating
I have pretty oily skin and tend to go for lightweight gel moisturizers, but didn't find this hydrating at all. I usually will try products for a couple of weeks, but I couldn't stand this one and gave up after a few days. Too bad, since the price is good.

Perfect as a day moisturizer for oily skin.
this moisturizer is a very lightweight gel moisturizer that sinks into the skin super fast. I noticed after using it that my skin isn't very oily during the day and the oiliness was significantly reduced. It doesn't sting or irritate the skin at all and doesn't clog the pores or aggravate acne-prone skin. I would say though that it's kind of watery and won't be enough if you're looking for something that's really moisturizing.

Watery and not super hydrating
Bought this because I was miscategorised as having oily skin and ultimately found it to be a very watery product that didn't hydrate the dry areas of my skin that much. It is incredibly gentle though and I never felt a sting even when my skin was irritated. Skin type: acne/blemish-prone, combination

Sinks in fast
This is a nice moisturiser that I’m currently using as a night cream. It soaks in quickly and is not greasy. Not sure I’d get it again though.

Gorgeous hydrating gel!
One of my favourite Inkey products which sadly often gets overlooked. The gorgeous lightweight gel soothes and calms whilst keeping oily skin fresh and hydrated. It works wonderfully under all my other serums, sealing them in a treat ready for SPF. If you’re oily, combo or sensitive, give this a try!

Okay but not for dry/sensitive skin
I was really excited to try this moisturiser as the Inkey List recipe builder suggested this would be great for my dry & sensitive skin. The positives are it hasn't made my sensitive skin any worse but I wouldn't say I'm any less red than usual! Negatives are that it's terrible as a dry skin moisturiser- my face feels like sand within minutes of it absorbing so I have to follow with some super thick basic moisturiser. Won't be buying again.

It's okay
It's a nice moisturiser, it actually has a gel consistency, but it does moisturize well the skin, however I don't think it's anything special, if you have dry skin it might not be enough.

Not for me
I purchased this product and I've been using it for the past week or 5 days and I did not enjoy this product at all because it didn't hydrate my skin as much as I wanted, as I felt some part of my skin were really dry, but it did give that plump and healthy look. p.s. my skin is a combination of oily.

Okay cream but not good value for money!
I have combination skin and this did work for a while. My face felt moisturised but I would definitely not recommend for anyone with dry skin. It absorbs so quickly that causing me to use more product and sometimes even causes my skin to feel dry in places. The instructions say to use a pea amount and that is no where near enough for my face and neck. It only comes in a tiny 30ml bottle and cost £9.99! If I would have read the amount you get for that price, I wouldn't have bought it. I won't be buying this again and I don't recommend.
