One of the very, very best overnight skin treatments we’ve found on the market, VOTARY’s Intense Night Oil – Rosehip and Retinoid unites powerhouse ingredients to help you defy ageing and wake up to truly beautiful skin in the morning.
Combing the latest retinoid super-star ingredient, hydroxypinacolone retinoate, suspended in luxurious natural plant oils – including avocado oil for vitamin K and tomato seed oil and rosehip oil for lycopene (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory rich) – this Intense Night Oil – Rosehip and Retinoid makes for a powerhouse skin rejuvenator. Encouraging the natural turnover of skin cells, reducing the breakdown of collagen as well as helping to calm and balance the skin, this powerful retinoid helps to leave skin firmer, clearer and beautifully radiant. The addition of acmella flower extract and Australian sandalwood extract helps to reduce redness, fine lines and improve the dermal structure, resulting in firmer feeling skin. Put four to five drops onto your palms. Hold your palms to your face and take a moment to inhale the natural fragrance and let it settle your mind. Now smooth the oil onto your face and neckline using gentle upward motions. Use your fingertips to gently pat the oil into the area around your eyes. Be gentle with your skin – don’t pull or stretch – so that it retains its elasticity. Allow a moment for absorption, and now your skin is perfectly prepped for sleep.

Really like it, but it's drying....
I note the fact the last reviewer said this has negligible amounts of retinoid in it and wonder about that because I find this quite drying and I also do find it reduces my break outs - a notable side effect of retinol for me. I like the smell and the fact that I can use this as a one stop shop at night, I'm lazy and can't be bothered with 10,000 products so I can honestly see myself paying £135 if it works, is luxurious and shows results. I'd rather pay that for one product that is good than for a bunch of different ones. I'll see how I go with the bottle I've got but find that I keep coming back to this lovely oil and enjoy using it. It leaves my skin a bit dry but I'd rather that than it be clogged which a lot of other products have done, I am very prone to congestion and spots and this seems to really help with that. I do wonder how much retinol is actually in there, but the additional of rosehip oil is definitely really good because that is a great oil for scars. I personally like it and find it a lot better than Luna which had no effect.

Not for me
I love Cult Beauty, but this product not so much. It's oily but not moisturizing enough and the type and amount of retinol is less than negligible. Furthermore, it broke me out horribly, and I'm long past break-out age. I appreciate the intent of this oil but not the result.
