This free-spirited scent races between opposing notes, settling briefly on the earthy note of opopanax before venturing on towards a complex medley of rum, geranium, rosemary and vanilla.
Housed in the brand's instantly recognisable (and incredibly lust-have) chic and simple – yet quintessentially luxe – monochrome design, each of BYREDO’s candles make the perfect finishing touch to any mantelpiece, coffee table and bedside cabinet. Rejecting permanence wholeheartedly, this mishmash of notes passes between opoponax and rum, geranium, labdanum and rosemary before settling - albeit fleetingly - upon a base of sandalwood, vanilla and oak moss.
For a better burning experience, trim candle wick before each use. Burn time approximately 60 hours.

Generic scent
For the price I’m really not impressed by how generic ‘musky floral’ this smells, even if it does burn nicely and look pretty. The throw’s fairly good, but the scent is so uninspired.

Generic smelling
This candle lasts well, burns nicely and looks great, but I really don’t find the scent very complex - it smells like a generic ‘floral musk’ and very similar but not as well blended as Bibliotheque.Â
