I'm so annoyed, as a new mum I thought this would be a life saver for doing my hair quickly. But since I brought back in August, everytime I use it since about two months ago it's just beeps red and cuts off! Then left with half a head of hair wet or straight! Online it says mechanical error, helpful. Saying leave it which I have and has done nothing. So poor for something that costs alot. I love my hair gadgets and have the Dyson hair straighteners and air wrap, both have never given me problems and my air wrap is over 5 years old. GHD sort it out!!!! 😩

Money well spent. The 2 in 1 styler actually works. I can dry and straighten my hair in about 10 - 12 mins. I have shoulder length, fine but very thick hair (so much hair, even my hairdresser complains when blow drying it).  The first time using, I didn’t section my hair so it wasn’t the best result but now I quickly section it both to dry and with shine shot and it works perfectly. 

Doesn’t get too hot, so not worried about damage but this is definitely not the one for curly hair. The end results look the same as when you rough dry it and comb your curls out. Even after the shine shot (which basically turns it into a straightener), it’s a frizzier version of straightened hair. You also can’t flick the ends for a fake blowout look either, as the plates don’t come together tight enough to create the needed tension. 

Absolutely love this product, hair stays smooth for days. Easy to use, and I love that it causes no damage!

I have 3a curly hair and I can dry my hair completely straight with this from damp and I don’t even need to use the shine setting afterwards. I’ve never been able to get these results with a hair dryer and a brush or even with a hot styling brush. I really like the results because it has a little more volume and swing than when I straighten it. I don’t see any steam or smell burning hair while using it and it doesn’t seem to do any damage, my hair feels really healthy after using it.

I'm not one to try a tool as I've had bleached hair for years but, my natural hair has finally grown out I'm now welcoming tools to help me mix things up. I have fine, straight hair, not very exciting, usually I wear down on hair wash day and tie back until I wash again. Some context. I've tried this once and I'm still in awe (not sure why I expected anything less from ghd). It blow dried my hair with ease (hold for a few seconds at the roots) and then the shine shot allowed me to add a little bit of movement as well as smoothing out my dry ends. I can't remember the last time I wore my hair down two days in a row (possibly a decade plus) but I woke up the next day to the same straight sleek style. I was worried this would flatten my already fine/flat hair but for the first time in a long time my husband said my hair look great, thick even! It's investment yes but combines your hair dryer and flat iron and truly does transform your hair from wet to dry.

This product makes it so easy to get a sleek salon blow dry look! I put the timer on and it literally took 11 minutes for my hair to be dried and styled, which is a miracle for me. For context, I have thick, medium length wavy hair and always struggle with frizz. For me it's always a challenge trying to get a sleek straight look and it would normally take about 30 minutes while using 2 or 3 different tools. Whilst the price point is high, this product makes it so fast and convenient so for me it's a game changer!
