After years of research and testing by ghd's savvy scientists; the Duet Style 2-in-1 Hot Air Styler has finally made its jaw-dropping debut. Taking the best tech from their drying and styling tools, this ground-breaking creation utilises Air-Fusion technology to dry and straighten your strands in unison. Smart low temperature plates deliver an even temperature throughout use; and all with barely a sound thanks to a bespoke acoustic system. If you were worried about this reaching your roots you need not panic... every element of your styling rituals has been accounted for by ghd (of course!). Expertly angled vents direct concentrated airflow at a lower temperature towards your roots to dry them without the damaging effects of extreme heat. Once you've dried your mane (and all without a single sizzle or hint of damage), it's time to turn your tool into a classic styler. The exclusive Shine Shot mode reaches the optimal temperature of 185°C to leave your strands ultra-glossy and free from frizz. Your hair styling rituals are ready for their upgrade...
Apply ghd sleek talker before using ghd duet style for elevated results with up to 72h of hair softness and smoothness, longer-lasting frizz control, and 4X more hair alignment.
Ensure hair is towel dried before use. Slide the power button upgwards to turn on your Duet Styler. After a few seconds you will hear the fan ramp up as it heats up to the optimal low styling temperature for wet hair. Once the light stops flashing and the product beeps, it s ready to use.
Divide your hair. Take the first section and place the product close to the roots holding for three seconds.
Glide down the hair towards the ends in a slow and steady pace. Repeat until dry and move onto the next section of hair, starting once again from the roots.
Once the hair is fully dry, for an optional boost of shine, active Shine Shot by pressing down the Shine Shot button for four seconds until you hear a beep. The fan will stop and the plate temperature will increase to the optimal ghd styling of 185°C. Once the product beeps and the lights stop flashing, Shine Shot is ready.
Your Duet Style can now be used as a regular styler, for instant frizz-free hair. If you wish to return from Shine Shot back to wet to style mode, press and hold the Shine Shot button for two seconds. Your tool will beep as the plates cool down and the fan will start. The 'ready to use' tone will play when it's safe to use on wet hair.
The Duet has a UK 3-pin Plug.
No thermal hair damage detected after 4 passes in wet to style mode vs naturally dried hair.
Automatic sleep mode switches off your styler off after 30 minutes of non-use, for peace of mind.

Worth the investment!
I’ve been a loyal GHD user for nearly 20 years and have owned several different products over the years. This is by far the best investment I’ve made, I’ve cut down on time taken to style my hair and i love the shine and softness without damage!Â

Had to bite the bullet on the price
I love this one It’s a little heavy But I use it all the time and I’m used to the weight Don’t have to carry around 2/3 hair tools this does everything for me And with less damage, I’ll take that please!

So worth it
After lots of research, I bit the bullet and am so glad I ordered this. Pricey, but worth it for me as such a time saver. My hair has never been straighter. Despite reservations, I can get right to the root to dry it fully. Blow dryer function gets hair so straight that I only have to run the straightening function over slightly, rather than fully sectioning and straightening as I would have previously. Hair has remained in good condition since I started using also - no damage.Â

It stopped working after one use
I used it once and it now doesn’t work anymore. It just beeps endlessly and doesn’t heat up. Can I send it back please?

GHD Duet 2 in 1.
Ok I am obsessed with hair tools. I have the whole kit from Dyson and also I'm a fan of Cloud Nine. It has been a long time since I purchased GHD and to be honest I thought I was wasting a huge amount of money on something that didn't do as advertised. However I washed hair this morning and set to work on my long curly thick hair. The tool is extremely light to hold and I found it dried my hair straight and smooth with just a few strokes on each section, finished off with the Shine shot and I was blown away. I usually spend ages drying my hair then just as much on straightening and this is a chore I have every morning. I found that using the Duet I only had to run them quickly through my newly dried hair, the effect was very similar but I did notice it felt smoother and had a shine. Incredible, if you are swaying on if they are worth it, please take a leap of faith. Only down side was my fringe, I didnt find it easy to finish this off and did use Corale's at the end of my style. I do think that once I master this my Corale's will become a dressing table ornament.

I love the concept
My hair is so curly at the root. This tool deals with it easily but on the 4th time using the tool it randomly beeped and there was a distinct burning smell. Made mevwonder how zero damage it really is.

Life changed
I’m obsessed with this! I use it every time I wash my hair now and my life has been changed! It causes so much less damage than straightening and my hair looks beautiful!Â

I am so relieved that this works for me because, given the price, it would have been heartbreaking if it didn’t. To say that I am not at expert at using hair tools would be an understatement and yet with this one I manage to get it to look the way I want it to look in a relatively short amount of time. I don’t feel that it damages my hair either. Yay!Â
