Best for combination skin

I was looking for a good cleanser for my boyfriend who has got combination skin and this one is by far the best one he's tried. Skin looks visibly healthier, is not shiny and generally tighter. would definitely recommend.

Good for some skin types

I buy this for my partner who has combination skin. However, this gel cleanser is fairly strong and I wouldn’t recommend using it more often than once a day.

Does what it says

This is a staple product for me! It is a lovely gentle, foaming cleanser and does not strip my combination, sensitive skin. It does exactly what it says. I love it!

Horrible..

First of all the smell is atrocious! Totally regret buying this cleanser. I had heard good things so i thought I’d give it a try.. I used this a few times but honestly I could not get past the smell. Seems very chemically.. Didn’t do much for my skin either..  Therefore I stopped using it, waste of money.  Also I do not understand why it did not come with a pump dispenser? Given the price, surely a pump dispenser would’ve been ideal?  Suffice to say I shall not be ordering this again.  I always go back to the Cerave foaming cleanser for oily combo skin, and it’s at a fraction of the price. I guess I’ll stick to that.

Very non-practical packaging

For a brand like Aesop, I’m surprised that this particular packaging doesn’t come with a free pump. The bottle is made out of glass that makes it slippery to hold when washing ones face. And to add to that, there’s no given pump. So imagine your hands are somewhat wet, you’ll need to uncap the fragile glass bottle in the shower, and then you’ll have to pour a few drops into your hand to wash your face. This encourages waste as there’s no stopper as you tilt the bottle, and without a pump, you can’t really control how much you pour out. This is a daily-used product made absolutely inconvenient and impractical to use! Much disappointment!

Gentle cleanser for acne prone skin

I never normally leave reviews but this cleanser is so good. I've tried a lot of different cleansers for my combination/acne prone skin and nothing was doing the trick. This is the perfect balance and doesn't strip the skin at all while still leaving it hydrated. I've gone through quite a few bottles and will keep repurchasing. Nothing has worked on my acne but this gently cleanses. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.

Cleansing heaven

Beautifully gentle cleanser.Cleanses without drying. Smells divine and for someone who has occasional breakouts this really seems to calm my skin in the problem areas.
