These smooth floating plates have been designed with ghd’s advanced ceramic heat technology, allowing a consistent temperature of 185ºC to be maintained for optimal styling – cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. The result? Smoother, healthier, frizz-free locks with salon-quality shine. The clever features don’t end there: a rounded barrel allows for effortless snag-free styling, particularly when creating curls, while a ultra-speedy 30 second heat up time makes it a godsend on rushed mornings. It takes safety very seriously indeed too with a travel-friendly heat resistant protective plate guard and (best of all) an automatic sleep mode that switches the device off after 30 minutes – welcome relief for those heart-wrenching ‘did I leave my straighteners on’ moments.
Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray.
Once the Styler has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.
Leave the Styler to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.
The styler has a UK three-pin plug and is 68-75W.

The best straighteners 🤩
These are my favourite straighteners, I have tried many different brands! I have thick hair and using the max styler saves me so much time! I can use much larger sections than what I would have to use with standard size straighteners. Also makes my hair look so healthy and shiny! Definitely recommend especially if you have thick hair like myself!

These straighteners save me SO much time!
These straighteners save me SO much time and leave my hair looking poker straight for days, with no need for touch ups! I have really thick, long hair and styling it was a nightmare until I bought these. It cut my straightening time in half and because they are so wide I can grab so much hair in each stroke – perfect if I am in a rush. I also always spritz each section with the GHD heat protection spray, which prevents breakage and keeps my hair looking super healthy and sleek. It’s my perfect hair styling combo.

Best ever
I honestly don’t know what I’d do without these. I’ve tried regular GHD irons but my hair is too coarse and curly and these make it so much easier to do. They’ve halved my straightening time and it takes less strokes to get right so the heat Damage is reduced too.
