I was given this as a Christmas present from my daughter, who absolutely loves the Kayali range and knew I was looking to change from the same Mugler perfume I've been using for over 15yrs. After sampling my daughter's extensive Kayali collection, she definitely made the right call choosing this one for me as it was by far my favourite, warm and spicy, not overly floral, and just the right amount of sweetness which dries down to comfortably creamy whilst retaining that blend of warm rum and burnt sugar. Despite only using a couple of sprays, I had more than one person comment on how lovely my perfume is, and none had heard of the brand, which left me feeling quite special!

Kayali does it again!
On first spray the patchouli comes on very strong to me, almost minty/herbal smelling but give it literally a minute and it settles to this amazing grown up vanilla, very warm and addictive. The dry down is stunning! Paired with vanilla 28 this is PERFECT for any lover of vanilla. It lasts for hours too. Definitely give it a good few hours wear before judging.

It is strong, sophisticated scent. On the beginning you smell rum, lots of spicy rum, than rum became lighter and you can smell sweet scent of sugar/vanilla. I recommend this scent for date nights/winter months. It last good few hours on the skin, but on clothes/hair it last forever. I am happy with it becouse it is not flat, sweet perfume, it has something what you want to smell more and more.

Vanilla 28's big sister
Vanilla 28 is in the dry down. This is patchouli and rum rich. An intense MATURE gourmand. Think: yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. Gorgeous! Not blind buy safe.

I tried this in a store whilst out shopping and instantly loved it. I could smell it all day and until the following morning, which is unheard of for me with many fragrances. I just had to buy a bottle. It’s opening on me, is strong, sweet, sugary (but not too girly), slightly boozy, with spicy undertones. The vanilla pairs so beautifully with the patchouli. It’s a beautiful gourmand which later also morphs into sweet, dark chocolate tones on my skin. Love it.

Great perfume
This was a blind buy for me. From all the reviews I understood its similar to invite amber. So when i tried it for the first time, I was discouraged by opening notes. For my taste this perfume feels very mature and heavy. However when it wears a bit off, i do like it, as it comes sweet and sugary, but with chunk of bitterness. And for me it feels much different than invite amber, as only in common thing would be that they are on heavy side, bold,warm perfumes. Otherwise very different performance atleast for me. Tried it again some later and I think I do start to liked it even more. Very unique smell. Will see how it will ends up.
