Oh my god so magical!
This was love at first sniff when i tried in store. The longevity on me was 7+ hours and i just couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist. I would defo say try this on the skin before investing as we all have different skin ph. My sister tried this and it only lasted around 3 hours. It smelt more gourmand on her skin and the praline note is more prominent on her. On me i get more of the amber, orange blossom and musk notes coming through and some nectarine. I smell edible and hubby said it smells cosy and “huggable” but my sisters husband said it smells too sweet. However if u dont mind blind buying then get the small travel size and maybe pass it on to a sister/friend or mom if u dont like it. I have a huge collection as i collect and this one will be used sparingly. I love it.

Lovely fresh fragrance
I bought both the Velvet and Silk Wedding Santal perfumes and absolutely love them! One star off only because I feel like they're less suited to me as the complexity of the fragrance notes are less than others in the Kayali range - my signature scent is the fantastic Invite Only or Deja Vu. I'm very glad I got this in the 50ml, as it does remind me as a lighter version of Deja Vu. This perfume is gorgeous though in different ways, compared to the Velvet version it definitely leans closer to feminine than unisex. Personally I prefer more floral, complex scents, but the lovely balance of white freesia, and champagne as a top note, with the base opening with subtle but comforting pink praline which then dries down to the warm and well balanced sweetness of sandalwood and sugared musk, with a slight fruity kick of nectarine is beautiful! I've also tried it layered with the Velvet version and they truly are a perfect couple, the softer, more muted notes from the Velvet with the freesia, nectarine and champagne and base of sandalwood and sugared musk in the Silk compliments the Velvet so much, I feel like the softer, more subtle fragrance of the Velvet is more of a base scent, with the Silk providing the bright floral and slightly fresh fruit notes on top. They provide the complexity each lacks on it's own - despite loving Kayali fragrances these are the first I've found greatly improved when layered. Very glad both are now available in the 50ml size as this perfume is going to be used with the Velvet Wedding Santal a LOT this summer!
