Not as good as translucent
I love the Laura mercier translucent powder but like a glowy finish so bought this - I thought it was too glittery and it just didn’t sit well on my skin

Soft Glow
This powder looks a little darker than I expected it to but that said when it goes on the face it’s fine. People often say if you use too much you’ll end up looking like a glitter ball or that it should only be used on the high points of the face but I’ve found applied and buffed in with a light application it gives the softest luminous glow to the skin

I love these powders but I received this one which is packaged as the shade that I ordered (celestial light) but it’s a really dark powder inside I’m not really sure what has happened but this sucks a bit as I am fair skinned and it’s made me look really dark and gray 😬

A new beautiful setting powder
I bought Laura Merciers glowy setting powder - & despite being unsure that I'd picked the wrong product, am, in fact, very happy with it. As a last step (before setting spray) this translucent powder covers & subtly hi - lights like a dream. It has however meant that 1 of the reasons I initially wanted a different setting powder (to mattify) - that I've bought another powder (Terry's setting powder) to address that - so I've actually ended up with a product I didn't know I needed but that I wouldn't be without now. The translucent powder gives you a lovely subtle glow - you just need a mattifier to tamp down any 'glowing issues'.
