Amazing product... the size is an issue though
The product itself is amazing, along with using less heat on my hair, using this has completely transformed my dull hair and split ends. I have highly recommended this product to many people BUT, £28 for 100ml… is STEEP. Considering the instructions say apply generously all over your hair once a week for normal hair, depending on length and thickness … it may only last a few weeks. Some people with long and thick hair, may only do two washes – the price needs to be adjusted. I’d expect at least a 250ml bottle for that price.

This stuff is brilliant. You notice a difference after the first use. My hair was fried from bleaching, especially the ends and this just made my hair stronger. It will not repair split ends (nothing will, you just have to cut those off) but it will make the hair smoother and stronger. I wet and towel dry my hair and slather it on and leave it on for as long as I can, at least 30 mins. It’s expensive for such a small bottle but better to spend your money on something that actually works.

Best value out of the Olaplex line
I have tried the Olaplex hair product lines from no. 3 to no.7 (bond oil). Out of the entire line, I'd say this product gives the most noticeable results on my hair (southeast Asian hair that has been rebonded, permed and colored countless times). My hair is naturally dry and the high humidity in Singapore doesn't help. Some beauty salon had refused to do a perm on my hair due to the dryness of my hair. I have used my 125ml of the no.3 hair perfect twice and I think I have just enough product left for one more time. Usually even after shampoo, I can see frizz, lot of hair fall and my hair lifeless. After the first use of no.3 (I left it on for about 1 hour and rinse and shampoo but not with Olaplex no.4 and no.5), my hair has much less frizz, hair fall reduced by more than half and it looks more shinier and healthier. Second time I used this, I used no.3,4 and 5 and same results are seen. I also have no. 6 (smoother) and no.7 oil. After my recent hair perm, no.6 really hydrates my curls and leave them soft. No.7 doesn't agree with me as much as no. 6 although it does reduce some frizz when used alone. I would definitely recommend no.3 in the entire line with all my heart, followed by no.6 if you have recently permed or straightened your hair. I don't think you need to use it all the time with every shampoo. Once my hair is back in good shape, I think I will stop buying no.3 since Olaplex products are pricey but I think every hair need a bottle at least once a year for a hair pick-me-up.

It’s okay...
I have fine hair and after reading amazing reviews I thought I’d give it a go. It gives a nice gloss and feel once you’ve washed and dried your hair but after one wash your hair is back to normal again. It’s not life changing, expensive for what it is, but give it a go as people with thicker hair might have better results.

It works ... it’s the only at home treatment I have used that does what it states. I use this once a week and leave in overnight then shampoo off in the morning. It definitely keeps my colour longer and also my hair in great condition. My shine and softness keeps at least for 6 days. The key is to use from the first wash after your colour has been applied. It really is a game changer. 4 stars for price as it would be better to get a bit more for your money. However, it is the only thing that does actually work and keep my hair happy. So overall I would always purchase this. I have long hair and lasts me 6 washes.
