Satin Lipstick

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

A really beautiful formula, satin and creamy and easy to apply (and reapply). Gorgeous packaging and fun to have on the dressing table. My first Pat McGrath lipstick - but won't be the last!

Beautiful packaging

I love this lipstick. The formula is gorgeous and the shade (nude romantique) is lovely. The packaging is also so cute.

Lovely colour and texture point knocked off for the case it’s a bit tacky

A great cool berry ‘nude’

The packaging is super cute, decent wear, although it wears like a classic lipstick, eg reapplication after food etc is essential. Beautiful colour and nice texture

Dusty Rose

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

The packing is gorgeous, the colour (Veiled Rose) is lovely - a really dusty, pinky rose that is a good match for my lip colour. The staying power could be better, even for a satin lipstick I find this wears off very quickly. This is my first Pat McGrath lipstick and I'm not sure it has convinced me to try more (especially considering the price!). I will continue to use and enjoy this lipstick but will have to make sure I have it on-hand for regular reapplications!

Perfect bridgerton nude

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I ordered this after hearing that it was used in bridgerton, it’s a lovely nude for pale skin and has a smooth satin finish

Veiled Rose

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Veiled Rose is the perfect subtle your lips but better shade for me. It matches my skin tone and the formula is lovely. Top off with a tiny bit of lip oil or some lip balm for an extra hit of gloss / moisture and it's wonderful. I like pretty low-key make-up day to day, and this is easy to wear and easy to top up as needed. For comparison purposes for anyone wondering if this is worth the splurge, I was a die-hard NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick fan (preferred shade was Minimalism). I'm a bullet lipstick with a good liner person through and through and never fully settled into the liquid lipstick hype. Ever since the mentioned NYX line was discontinued, I've been on the hunt for something else to be my daily use lip (many not quite right along the way, but used up) and this finally fits the bill perfectly. It is significantly higher in price point compared to high street options, but if you're going to use it often and enjoy it rather than letting it waste away in a massive collection of fifty other lipsticks? Get it. It's worth the investment.

Polly Pocket

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

The packaging of this reminds me of 90s polly pocket. The negligee shade is beautiful but I wish it had a bit more staying power (especially after trying Pat's matte formulations). But still a lovely swipe and go lipstick

It's OK...

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

First off, I absolutely love the packaging. Another reviewer mentioned that it's like a little girls play lipstick, it kind of does, but that's why I love it. I got the shade vesuvian peach. It gives a lovely sheen to the lips but very little pigment and does not last very long. Don't think I would buy again.
